This seminar offers to look at the current state of images and how artists and thinkers reflect on contemporary visual culture.
The sessions explore the ontology of the image, the diversity and multiplicity of its presence in current communication and consider its impact on the social and political landscape.
We examine how the image is a producer of realities, its relationship with power and identity, as well as at the changes induced by the circulation of images on the internet Today.
