2018 - 2020

Restructurer le secteur édition et concevoir une nouvelle section de galeries.
En 2018, le Salon de la Photographie de Milan a invité archipelago à repenser son secteur de l'édition, le rendre plus qualitatif et représentatif de la scène internationale et plus attractif pour une public jeune.  Nous avons conçu et mis en œuvre un projet qui, sur trois ans, rassemblerait trois fois plus de participants, dont la moitié, des éditeurs internationaux, dont Akio Nagasawa (Japon), Art Paper Editions (Pays-Bas), Ediciones Anomalas (Espagne), Editions Patrick Frey (Suisse), Komiyama Tokyo (Japon), La Fabrica (Espagne).

En 2020, archipelago a été chargé de créer une nouvelle section de galerie, intitulée « Punctum ».

Reshaping the publishing sector and imagine a new gallery section.

In 2018, Milan Photography Fair invited archipelago to ristructure their publishing sector, make it more qualitative and representative of the international scene.

archipelago designed and implemented a project that, over three years, would bring three times more participants half of them, international publishers, including Akio Nagasawa (Japan), Art Paper Editions (Netherlands), Ediciones Anomalas (Spain), Editions Patrick Frey (Switzerland), Komiyama Tokyo (Japan),La Fabrica (Spain).

In 2020, archipelago was commissionned to create a new gallery section, untitled  ‘Punctum’.

Direction artistique du salon de photographi et création d’un secteur editorial
En 2018, le Centre Photographique Marseille (CPM) a décidé d'ajouter une section éditeur à son salon de la photographie intimiste Polyptyque. Archipelago a été chargé de concevoir et d'organiser cette nouvelle section. Nous avons invité des éditeurs européens tels que Roma Publications (Pays-Bas), Mörel Books (Royaume-Uni), Ediciones anòmalas (Espagne), les Editions Patrick Frey (Suisse) et Witty Books (Italie) à participer à cet événement marseillais.

En 2021, le CPM noua a proposé de faire la direction artistique de l'ensemble du salon. Après avoir consulté des galeristes européens dans le contexte post-pandémique, archipelago a imaginé un système hybride de  salon-exposition qui permettait au centre photographique de proposer un programme de haute qualité et aux galeries de participer malgré le contexte.

L’exposition intitulée Récits Contemporains,  a présenté le travail de dix artistes européens en collaboration avec leurs galeries: dont Michael Hoppen (Londres), Binôme (Paris), Parrotta (Cologne), Viasaterna, (Milan), Rocio Santa Cruz (Barcelone),  Sofie Van de Velde (Anvers),  Flatland, (Amsterdam), Christophe Gaillard (Paris), Myo (Mougins), Black Box Projects (Londres).

In 2018, the Centre Photographique Marseille (CPM) decided to add a publisher section to its intimate photography fair, Polyptyque.

archipelago was commissionned to design and run this new section. We invited european publishers such as Roma Publications (Netherlands), Mörel Books (UK), Ediciones anòmalas (Spain), Editions Patrick Frey (Switzerland) and Witty Books (Italy) to take part in this Marseille event.

In 2021, the CPM asked archipelago to take on the art direction of the whole fair. After consulting european galeries in a post-pandemy year, archipelago conceived a fair-exhibition that presented the work of ten european artists in collaboration with their galleries: including Michael Hoppen (London), Binome (Paris), Parrotta (Cologne), Viasaterna, (Milan), Rocio Santa Cruz (Barcelona),  Sofie Van de Velde (Antwerp),  Flatland, (Amsterdam), Christophe Gaillard (Paris), Myo (Mougins), Black Box Projects (London).
